Personal finance is often overlooked among America's teenagers. With only seven states requiring completion of a personal finance class for high school graduation, most of our youth are unequipped to manage money. Money for Teenagers provides an introductory financial education and presents money as a resource to be used purposefully. The book promotes feelings of freedom, tempered with discipline, to develop good financial behaviors among its readers. Two important assets, time and habit, are revealed to help teenagers create an abundant and financially secure future. The reader is encouraged to avoid common pitfalls such as living paycheck-to-paycheck or incurring burdensome debt. A money management system is introduced for youth to implement now and continue using into their adult years.
